This Clever Crazes for Kids Web site (the "Web site"), sponsored by Building Healthy Lives Foundation, an Ohio nonprofit corporation and 501(c)(3) organization under the Internal Revenue Code, is designed to educate students, parents and teachers about the core concepts of self-esteem, environmental sustainability, nutrition and fitness through entertaining and engaging activities. No products or services are offered for sale through the Web site. From time to time, we award prizes to individuals , schools, after school programs, kids’ clubs, and libraries based upon students' participation in the Web site.
If you are a parent or guardian, you will be interested to know that we do not seek to collect or request any personal information directly from children. To learn more about our policy regarding the online collection of information from children, we recommend reviewing the Notice to Parents below.
Building Healthy Lives Foundation, the sponsor of this Web site and the Clever Crazes for Kids programs, (sometimes referred to in this Privacy Policy as "We" or "Us") respects the privacy rights of its online visitors and is committed to providing you with a secure online environment. We have adopted an Online Privacy Policy ("Privacy Policy") that guides how we collect, store and use the information you provide us online. If you are under the age of 13 your parents or guardian must read this Privacy Policy with you. We have also provided a Notice to Parents below.
Building Healthy Lives Foundation has been awarded TRUSTe's Children’s Online Privacy Seal signifying that this privacy policy and practices have been reviewed by TRUSTe for compliance with TRUSTe's program requirements including transparency, accountability and choice regarding the collection and use of your personal information. The TRUSTe program does not cover information that may be collected through downloadable software. TRUSTe's mission, as an independent third party, is to accelerate online trust among consumers and organizations globally through its leading privacy trustmark and innovative trust solutions.

This Privacy Policy only covers information that is collected through this Web site, and does not cover information that may be collected through any software downloaded from this Web site. In addition, this Privacy Policy applies only to the information that we collect online, not offline.

What information do we collect?
In order to provide our educational services in a meaningful and useful manner, we may request and/or collect information from you on a voluntary basis when you (as a parent, guardian, teacher, after school program, kids’ club, or library program coordinator or other official of such program): (1) register with us; (2) participate in contests, events or promotions; (3) send questions or comments via e-mail to our support center; and/or, (4) fill out online surveys. The requested information may include personal information such as your name and e-mail address. For some activities, we may also ask you to create a password and to provide demographic information about your children, such as gender, school and grade level. If demographic information is collected for an activity that also requires personal information, we may combine the demographic information with your personal information. This allows us to tailor the notices we send you and the content we provide you according to your preferences and interests.
We do not seek to collect or request any personal information from children under the age of 13. If you are under the age of 13, only your parent, guardian, teacher, after school program, kids’ club, or library representative, or other official of such organization, can provide any information to us about you for purposes of registration and other online activities. Kids, if you are ever unsure about anything you are seeing on this site, ask your parent, guardian or teacher for help. See Notice to Parents below for more information.
Registration
If you are an adult and wish to register with the Web site, you may be asked to supply personal information such as your full name and e-mail address. We may also ask you to provide demographic information, such as your postal code, or demographic information relating to children in your household, such as gender and grade level. We use such information to periodically contact you with relevant announcements, and to improve and tailor our educational materials.
Promotions/Contests
To participate in some of our promotions or contests where prizes can be won by individuals , after school programs, kids’ clubs, libraries or schools, you may be asked to provide your e-mail address, screen name, your child's first name, grade level, gender and school, so that your child may participate in the contest. This is the means by which we can identify the winning kids and notify the adult(s) who registered them. We will let you know if your child, child’s school, after school program, kids’ club, or library has won a prize. All promotions on the Web site are administered by us. Your personal information is not shared with any third parties, except with entities who use it solely to provide support for the operations of the promotion/contest.
Should your child , your child’s school, after school program, kids’ club, or library win a prize, you will be notified by e-mail. By allowing you to send an e-mail to us, we are not attempting to collect any personal information about you. We will only use personal information of parents and teachers (such as full name and e-mail address) contained in your e-mail to respond to your specific inquiry or comments in the e-mail. Although we may retain your e-mail for a period of time, we will not use any personal information contained in your e-mail for any purpose other than responding to your specific inquiry or comments. If you have registered with us and provided your e-mail to us as discussed above, as indicated, we will only use such information as summarized above.
Online Surveys
In order to improve the user experience at our Web site, we may employ online surveys for visitors to volunteer anonymous demographic information about themselves and provide us feedback about why they visit the Web site and what we can do to make it better.
Whatever the activity may be, we will only collect information to the extent deemed reasonably necessary to fulfill your requests and our legitimate educational objectives. If you do not want to submit personal information when requested, you will not be able to access certain areas on the Web site.
Who is collecting your information and how will it be used?

We use cookies and clear GIFs to enhance your experience at our Web site. These cookies and clear GIFs let us know how many people are coming to the Web site, how frequently, and how they are using the Web site, allowing us to make updates to content and improve navigation as appropriate.

Clear GIFs, sometimes called "Web bugs," are file objects, usually a graphic image such as a transparent one pixel-by-one pixel GIF (Graphics Interchange Format, one of the two most common file formats for images on the Web), that are placed on a Web page that are placed on a Web page or in an e-mail message to monitor user behavior. The GIF tells us the IP address of the computer that fetched our page, the URL of the page the GIF is on, the time the page was viewed, the type of browser used, and can tell us a previously set cookie value. This anonymous information is returned by the clear GIF to us and we use this information to accurately count visitors and understand how they navigate and use our network of sites. We do not combine information gathered through clear GIFs with your personal information.
Log Files
Other information passively collected by our Web site is in the form of logs - files that record website activity and gather statistics about web users' browsing habits. These entries are generated anonymously, and help us determine (among other things) how many and how often users have visited our Web sites, which pages they've visited, and other similar data. We also use the log file entries for our internal demographic studies, so we can constantly improve the online services we provide you. Log files are used internally only, and are not associated with any particular user, computer, or browser.
Linking to third party sites
To provide relevant information not found on our Web site and to facilitate the educational experience we offer, we may provide links from our Web site to third party Web sites. We will notify users when they are leaving our Web site and we encourage our users to read third party sites' privacy policies before submitting personal information.
Opt-out
If you do not want us to send you e-mails, you can opt-out at the time of registration or at the time of information collection. You may also follow the unsubscribe instructions included in each promotional e-mail. If you are receiving e-mails and at a later date you choose to opt-out and have your name removed from our e-mailing list, you can do so by sending an e-mail to our Website Administrator at support@clevercrazes.com. Please understand that if you choose to opt-out, we will be unable to notify you if your child wins a prize or helps to win a prize for his or her school, after school program, kids’ club, or library.
Safeguarding your personal information
We will only collect personal information to the extent deemed reasonably necessary to serve our legitimate educational purposes, and we will take appropriate steps to ensure the security and integrity of any information (including that of children under 13) you provide to us. Any information provided to us on the Web site is housed in a secure datacenter.
We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personally identifiable information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Review, update and removal of personal information
If you have registered with our site, you may at any time review and/or update the contact information we have for you or your child’s information or inform us that you want us to remove your or your child’s information from our database by either visiting the online profile section of our Web site or contacting our Web site Administrator at support@clevercrazes.com. We will retain yours or your child’s information for as long as yours or your child’s account is active or as needed to provide you services. Collection and Use of Children's Personal Information
We do not seek to collect or request any personal information directly from children under the age of 13 ("children" or "child"). In addition, IF we post a photo or video on the Web site of a child, class, or school – we or the school have received written permission from all parents or guardians to post this content on the Web site.
