IF YOU HAVE LIMITED COMPUTER ACCESS IN YOUR SCHOOL, CLASSROOM, OR AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM and/or are using your computer with a SmartBoard for playing as a classroom/group rather than having students play individually, your school or after-school program can still accumulate points AND win prizes. Your students will also be eligible to win prizes if they play as an individual at home or another location. Students with limited computer access also have the opportunity to earn points in the Step It Up and Kickstart Your Brain® Physical Fitness challenge. According to famed neurosurgeon John Tew, MD, “The newest research shows that as important as exercise is for your body, it’s even more important for your brain. Twenty minutes of aerobic exercise stimulates growth of new synapses, facilitating the grasp of more complex material and adds new nerve cells, which support recent memory acquisition.” Simply download and print a Step It Up and Kickstart Your Brain® Exercise Tracking Form, which can then be used to track the students' "reps." The educator must enter students’ reps on the website weekly by Saturday at 11:59 pm EST.
Remember to provide your students with the username and password for your school or after-school program’s account so the points they earn at home will be accumulated for your school or after-school program.
We will be happy to register your entire school, classroom, or after-school program group if you supply us with an Excel spreadsheet with all of your students' first names, first initial of their last names, and grades. Send your Excel file and contact information to kclark@clevercrazes.com. Your students will be entered, and you will be notified when your registration is completed.
